Short update...

This time of year is so crazy trying to get the camp ready.  Camp starts in one more week.  In my "spare" time, we have put a bid in on another house.  It has been hard to find a house that will work, but this one shows a lot of potential.  It will definitely need some major work.  It has large lot, plenty of space, and is in a pretty good location. It is a HUD house and the bidding is through this Sunday, so we should know by Tuesday if we get the house or not.  It is in God's hands now.  We appreciate your prayer.

So, did you get that house?....

OK, I finally got a moment to sit down and catch up on my computer.  We still don't have internet at the house and working half days (12 hours) is making it hard to get anything else done.

After 5 months of trying to find a house in the Prescott neighborhood, we are kind of back to Square 1.  The house we had a contract on is tied up in foreclosure and the one at auction was postponed and we can't figure out what is going on.  We looked at a few more houses, but haven't found one that will work yet.  I guess the plan is just wait and keep praying.  God has a house for us.

We are hoping one of these will get back on the market soon.

Thanks for your prayers.

Another house option.

Finding a house that meets all of our criteria has not been easy. This house has a lot of potential. It is at 16 S. 16th Street.  It is going up for auction this Friday. We plan to bid on it. Please pray that if this is the house, we will win the auction for a good price. Thanks. I will let you know what happens, but our internet at camp is down for now.
