My bad....

It's been a while since I've been sharing here on my blog.  We've been busy but blessed.  I'm sitting here in La Paz House, waiting for the school bus. That is the beginning of the afternoon blitz.

La Paz House is still moving right along.  Our attendance has slowed a little due to weather, discipline and the neighborhood soccer team practicing.  (First game next Saturday!)  The biggest victory is that we are becoming a place that kids can count on and love to be.

Today, we we at a luncheon with Mission Adelante and Youthfront.  Noel Castellanos gave a very succinct talk on why immigration reform is key to our ability to effectively minister to the poor.  But more than that, we were encouraged to keep pressing on and loving our neighbors.
